Armed with the speed and power to unseat any peer or predecessor. Learn more about our new standard of performance. DB12 raises the simple grand into the superpowered. Spiking pulses with a 4.0-litre twin turbo V8, delivering a class-leading 680PS for a top speed of 202mph and potent with 800Nm of torque. A super tourer drawing from a handmade aluminum heart to drip-feed every drop of performance from its core to the road.
Shorter final drive ratio than the DB11 (3.083:1) to punch out of corners even harder. High revs and low rpm torque. Able to tap every drop and nanosecond of real-world performance from its engine. Firing instant power in any situation for immediate high speeds.
An engine fitted with lightweight forged aluminum pistons. That comes encased in 83mm cylinder bores with 92mm stroke. The power hike comes courtesy of modified cam profiles, tweaked compression ratios, larger turbochargers, and improved cooling.
Cutting it even more with front mid-engine placement. Born from a desire for balance. Slicing its center of gravity and offering ice-cold stability in the most heated moments.

Electronic Rear Differential. Taming torque one wheel at a time with precise management of torque placement. Able to go from full open to locked in 135 milliseconds. And blessed with four modes, including Wet, On, Track, and Off.
For the first time across Aston Martin’s core GT models, the choice of carbon ceramic brakes. 400mm at the front. 360mm at the rear. Grooved and drilled, disc by disc, to fight off fade in the cauldron of high speed. While reducing unsprung mass by 27kg to quicken its feel at your feet and control in your hands.

56% increase in frontal apertures for cooling, joined by a 54% bigger grille. Breathing more cold air to the radiators and centrally mounted bonnet vents, gives the powerful twin-turbo V8 the cold it needs to fire on all cylinders.
Mounted on new, larger 21-inch alloy wheels, trimmed to maximize the harmony between the tire and tarmac. DB12 also debuts the new Michelin Pilot Sport 5S tyre. Developed alongside Michelin and bespoke to Aston Martin. A hand-spun compound for unparalleled lateral grip, to dampen the effects of rain and cushion comfort into every roll of tread.
Ergonomically designed blended controls. An inch-perfect raised center console delivers the purest mix of digital technology and analog immediacy. While improving in on and off-center steering feel. All for a furiously blended sense of being in the cockpit of the car.
